Straight Shears – For Basic Cutting and Shaping

Hold the scissors comfortably and use long, steady cuts along the legs, sides, or backline. These are perfect for creating clean outlines and shaping the overall silhouette of the coat.

Thinner Shears – For Volume Control and Soft Texture

Comb the coat upward and use short, light snips in thick areas like the chest, ruff, and hindquarters. This helps reduce bulk and adds natural movement without affecting the length.

Up-Curved Shears – For Raised or Rounded Areas

Use the curve to follow upward features like the muzzle, head top, chest, and tail. Cut in a flowing motion from base to tip, following the natural arch of the pet’s structure.

Down-Curved Shears – For Dropping Lines and Fine Control

Use these for downward shapes around the eyes, inner thighs, or rear. Perfect for adding roundness and control on sensitive or curved areas.

Clean every tool after use

Wipe each blade with the provided microfiber cloth. For the thinner shears, clean carefully between the teeth to remove trapped fur.

Oil the pivot points weekly

Apply one drop of scissor oil to each pivot screw. Open and close the shears a few times to distribute the oil evenly.

Use the included tension key

Check blade tension once a month. If a scissor feels too tight or loose, gently adjust with the included tool for optimal performance.

Store in the provided case

Keep each scissor in its designated slot to prevent damage or misalignment. Never store them loose.

Keep dry and safe

If any part becomes damp, dry it completely with a clean cloth. Store in a cool, dry place to maintain sharpness and coating.

Sharp!

I love these scissors! They're beautiful, super sharp, and I love that there are two different curved shears. The case that they come in is nice too, and they come with a sharpening tool. I'm very happy with them so far! I haven't noticed any discoloration or dulling yet and I've used them plenty as a dog groomer.

Quality and durability

I’ve been using a pair of curved scissors I bought that were great but I needed to get the shearing scissors and other to trim the around the body. These scissors didn’t disappoint and I was able to trim my Havanese see the before and after photos. I’m not a groomer but I prefer to groom her at home to avoid the stress and anxiety that it causes her. I’ve learned so much from groomers and glad to have tools like this that help me do the best grooming I can for my fur baby. I have the blue set and recommend these scissors.

Thea are great for beginners but I can tell they won't stay sharp long. They don't cut the hair like butter but it will get the job done. They are made well, they aren't heavy, they are comfortable to use and work well and about the average size of scissors

Worth the money 100% (I’m Usually Cheap)

Maybe I’ve just been cursed with awful shears but these are simply amazing. I bought these nearly a month ago and withheld review to see how they held up. So far, they are completely amazing (used ~50x since purchase). They feel great and natural in my hand (usually got hand cramps), they cut clean and easy and the L & R curved shears were such a game changer. Doesn’t hurt that they obviously look amazing.
