What a beautiful pair of scissors! I have a long haired Lhasa Apso, and I like to keep his eyes and paws cleared of the length. I love that I can feather his forehead to make my unprofessional hack job more attractive. When these arrived I had done a pretty close hack job. I did smooth it out a bit, and I’m very hopeful that future haircuts will be much nicer now that I have these amazing shears. My own hairdresser uses this type of thinning shear on my hair and the result is a wonderful look which is why I got these to try on my dog. I believe I can soften the cut edges so they blend in better to give a much more professional appearance. These shears feel like great quality, they have a pretty little rhinestone setting on them which just makes me happy, and my dog doesn’t mind me using them so they must be sharp enough at least right out of the package. They come in a nice zipper case to keep them clean and protected. I will enjoy being able to adjust my awkward cuts and smoothing them out a bit with these shears in future grooming sessions. They are a great addition to my tool kit. Max agrees.
My husband is a professional dog groomer and so I was excited to get him this pricier pair of scissors. After a week of use, the screw in the middle loosened and they stopped working altogether. The screw has an interesting design so he couldn't tighten it with the tools he had. Thankfully, customer service sent us a picture (included in my review) that showed how you can tighten it with a pair of scissors! My husband says he likes the way the scissors cut and he's very happy with them now that he knows how to fix them.
These scissors are very comfortable to work with and the weight feels perfect. These are definitely not a cheap pair of grooming scissors. They cut perfectly and are very easy to use. I'm just learning how to groom, but these function very well and make it easy to learn. The finger holes are a comfortable size and don't rub like some scissors do. I also like that they come with a storage case. I was able to trim my dog's fur easily and quickly.

I bought these after looking at Sam Villa's invisiblend shears. They are curved like these. He wants $750 for his!!! I paid $60 for these pet shears. Obviously his are going to be made with better and longer lasting material but I could buy 12 of these for that price. And yes, I'm using them to cut my own hair. I can attest they are sharp as I drew blood on one of my fingers first time using them. I'm not a hairdresser, just somebody who likes to experiment and take chances lol
