Use the blending shears after shaping to soften lines and create smooth transitions. Work in small sections and make gentle snips along the edges of trimmed areas to blend different coat lengths seamlessly.

5. Use a Comb to Check Progress

Comb between cuts to lift the coat and assess evenness. This helps you blend without overworking one spot and keeps texture natural.

6. Work With the Growth Direction

Always trim following the direction of the hair growth. This allows the blades to glide through more smoothly and gives better control over texture.

Excellent for diy grooming

These make diy grooming so much easier and really do a good job blending. The weight is great and they fit comfortably in my hand. Nobody wants to see scissor lines, but my little rescue doesn't like grooming, so I needed something that would ensure I could get a nice blended groom, and do the job quickly. Perfect for following up scissor work.

Works Well With Wiggly Dogs

I started using these curved scissors because my older dog is wiggly and hates to be groomed - like bits the shaver hates. Like anything that resembles grooming is his mortal enemy. These help me keep him from getting his skin nicked or hurt and I can angle them away from him while still getting the bangs he insists on having out of his eyes. I've also found that they help when cleaning up the fur in his paw pads, well when I can keep his foot still long enough to trim them out. I swear that do would rather look like a mop - all 12 lbs of him. Anyhow, these are some of the best dog wrangling scissors I've used and would highly recommend them for quick cleanups, matt trimming, and any other dog grooming needs you may have.

These are so sharp! Cut my finger in the blade accidentally just cleaning it. Love how it cuts. Perfect for my poodle. It cuts very even and doesn’t make a choppy noise that spooks him. Don’t know if that makes sense but I had other scissors that made a louder cutting noise and it was hard to cut around my pups face because of it. That being said the quality is top notch and it feels good while using it. Made really really well

Where have these been all my life?

Comfortable to use. Very sharp. Easily tightened. I'd never used curved scissors before, and now I will never be without them. I use them to clip both my standard poodle and my DH, who refuses to go to the barber since Covid-19 came along and he figured out how to con me into cutting his hair.
