Grace™ Series | 7.5" Curved Shears

I didn't know opening and closing scissors could be so satisfying as with doing so with these. It is the smoothest pair of scissors I've ever owned. You can tell they're extremely high quality. It came in a nice box with a tool for loosening or tightening the blades, finger protectors for the inner part of the holes, and a piece of cloth for cleaning. I didn't need to use the tool piece on these, however if you're experiencing resistance or it takes effort to open and close the blades, I'd recommend using the tool piece to loosen it. I actually used that piece on a pair of thinning shears I had that I thought were crap, but once loosened it was like owning a much better pair of shears. I used the curved blades to clean up a longhaired dachshund especially around the ears to make sure knots are reduced and keep her toes in check. The curved blade is nice because you can turn it away from the dog so in case they're jumpy you're less likely to give them a poke. The amount of hair this can swiftly cut with ease is impressive. It honestly makes me want to use it on my own hair because of how satisfying it was cutting with them. If you're looking for a great price on a good pair of grooming scissors, definitely get this. This was worth every penny.

These were recommended by a professional groomer and they did not disappoint. I use them to groom my retrievers and they work beautifully. Very helpful for longer hair areas where you don’t want a hard line.

Primo scissors! I am impressed. They cut thick poodle hair like butter. They come nice sharp and appropriately adjusted. I would definitely recommend and buy again. The black silicone finger inserts can pop right out if your fingers are fatter than mine. My fingers are big, but I can leave the inserts in and they are still comfortable. Buy these, you won’t be sorry!

While thinning away was concentrating to well. Started clear fur from the shears. Got a nice paper-cut like slice on tip of my finger! Careful! BTW lots of warnings on the box and a cover for the shears.

I am loving these shears! Retired groomer, had to step away from work due to sudden illness and it’s following permanent disability. Since this dog flu has been going around, I’ve had to practice my skills to keep my service dog in training from looking disheveled.

The curve: a little too steep for my personal preference but fine for working with feet and legs. I don’t know if I’d love them for detailing more intricate work, but I suppose the angle could be good for doing a nice round face.

The cut: crisp, clean lines with these shears. Minimal snagging but definitely not the sharpest pair I’ve ever owned, for the price it was way better than I expected.
You’re not getting a $200 pair of shears here but I would hope you knew that.
The shears stayed sharp through all 4 feet and for trimming a few stray feathers, which is better than I can say for other human shears I’ve tried.

Adjustability: These came out of the box VERY tight which I like, but it’s definitely not the smooth feel you’ll get with more expensive ones. I didn’t expect them to cut like butter, but I was a little disappointed on the friction at first. There is a screw to adjust the tightness, but I haven’t needed to use it yet. I quickly got used to the force needed to open and close, but you may want to adjust to personal preference if you have arthritis or weakness in your hands because they do take considerable force to open and close by default.

The safety features: rounded tip for these is a great feature for working in precise movements around ticklish areas. I think they’re a great first pair for an amateur looking to practice or just keep their dog maintained between grooms. I don’t think these would be great for labor intensive hand scissoring, they feel like they would lose sharpness quickly. But I will update after more use to confirm or deny that.

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of these shears. And for the price if I need to replace them once or twice a year, that’s still more feasible for me than getting another set of my Fusion scissors right now. Get these now, it’s really not too bad for price and I think it will be worth it.

Coat type I used these on was a golden retriever with a winter coat growing in.

I’m loving the look I can get for my doodle’s face using the curved chunkers. I had to send the first pair back because they wouldn’t close once opened. This 2nd pair I received works much better. No issues. I have used nicely on both my golden doodle and my miniature schnauzer.

I was a little worried about the quality of these scissors for the price. I’ve owned a lot of people hair cutting shears and believe quality is expensive, but I just didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I used them for the first time today and they were wonderful. First, I’ve never used curved shears before and it was a game changer. So much easier to get around the paws, ears and face. The weight is very nice and you can flip them to cut either side. It made the job so much easier! I love these so much and I’m so glad they work great.

These scissors are absolutely amazing and work as good as I would imagine any professional scissors could work. I've been using them for a couple years on my crazy curly and tough to cut poodle and they work better than my $200 electric clippers.

Really like these scissors. They are easy to use for trimming head and face of my little shih-tzu.

I’m a dog groomer and needed a backup pair of shears while I sent my others out for sharpening. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these for the price. They cut nicely & did not catch at the tip or fold hair. I have no idea how these would hold up long term, but as a backup or with light use they are probably a great affordable option.

Well designed, fits my fingers. Cuts effortlessly without getting the hair stuck in the blade and is super Sharp! The cheap $9 one I threw away after 2weeks. You get what you pay for!!!

I started grooming my standard poodles when one of them seemed too old to spend the whole day at the groomer. These curved scissors are a game changer in getting the look you want. It is so much easier to do their ears, topknot, feet and tail. These scissors are really, really good quality. They are nicely packaged and have a case for storage. They are very, very sharp. I love these scissors. They are the best and a great value for the money
