At EliteTrim Grooming, each pair of grooming shears is individually inspected by our quality control team before dispatch. This may include cutting performance checks, opening-and-closing checks, tension checks, sharpness checks, and overall condition inspection. Where applicable, inspection records or videos may also be kept for quality assurance purposes.
We want every customer to receive professional-quality grooming tools in excellent condition. If you believe your item has arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us with clear photos or videos so our team can review the issue carefully.
Please read our return policy carefully before placing your order. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Eligibility for Returns
Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- Returned with all tags, protective covers, accessories, and original packaging
- Free from signs of use, wear, damage, alteration, pet hair, dirt, oil, grooming residue, or other contamination
- Approved for return by our customer support team before being shipped back
Returned items will be inspected upon arrival. If the item does not meet the conditions above, the return may be rejected or only partially refunded.
Grooming Shears & Hygiene Policy
Our grooming shears are professional tools designed for direct use on pets. For hygiene, product safety, and cross-contamination reasons, we are unable to accept returns of shears that have been used, tested on pets, exposed to pet hair, or removed from a condition suitable for resale.
Grooming shears are not eligible for return or refund if:
- The shears have been used, tested, or have come into contact with pet hair, skin, grooming products, water, oil, dirt, or other residue
- The product has been opened or handled in a way that makes it unsuitable for resale
- The original packaging, protective covers, tags, accessories, or included items are missing or damaged
- The shears have been dropped, damaged, sharpened, adjusted, disassembled, repaired, altered, or misused
- The issue is caused by improper handling, storage, cleaning, tension adjustment, or use
- The return is due to personal preference, including size, weight, cutting feel, grip style, hand fit, breed suitability, or choosing the wrong model
- The customer selected the wrong size, type, handedness, or product variant
- The item was purchased as a final sale, clearance, custom, or personalized product, unless the item is faulty or required by applicable law

Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, incorrectly shipped, or where required by applicable law:
- Used grooming shears or grooming tools
- Items that have been opened, used, altered, damaged, or are no longer suitable for resale
- Items damaged due to customer misuse, improper handling, improper cleaning, improper storage, adjustment, or accidental damage
- Products returned without original packaging, tags, protective covers, accessories, or included items
- Final sale, clearance, or special promotional items
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Returns sent without prior approval from our customer support team
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at email@elitetrimgrooming.com as soon as possible.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos or videos of the item
- Photos of the outer packaging, if the package was damaged
- A brief description of the issue
For grooming shears, we may request additional photos, videos, or information to assess the reported issue. This may include:
- The shears opening and closing
- The screw or tension area
- The blade tips
- The full condition of the shears
- The shears being used in a safe and appropriate manner
- Any other information reasonably required for assessment
This helps our team assess whether the issue may be related to product condition, tension setting, handling, transport movement, maintenance, user technique, or another cause. Where available, we may also review our pre-dispatch inspection records, quality control records, and inspection videos as part of the assessment.
Please note that professional grooming shears are designed for use on clean, fully brushed, tangle-free animal coats only. Use on paper, cardboard, fabric, plastic, packaging materials, metal, wire, or other non-grooming materials may affect blade alignment, blade edge condition, tension, or cutting performance.
Issues arising from improper handling, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized adjustment, sharpening, repair, disassembly, use on unsuitable materials, or use outside the product's intended purpose are not considered manufacturing defects and are not eligible for refund, replacement, or exchange.
Photos alone may not always provide sufficient information to assess a reported issue. Where cutting performance, operation, smoothness, tension, alignment, or other functional concerns are reported, clear video evidence demonstrating the issue may be required before a claim can be assessed.
If sufficient evidence is not provided, or if the reported issue cannot be verified from the information supplied, we may be unable to determine whether a product fault is present or proceed with a claim.
Please do not dispose of the product or packaging before our team has reviewed your case.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact our customer support team at email@elitetrimgrooming.com within 30 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- The item you would like to return
- The reason for return
- Photos or videos if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect
Please do not send any item back before contacting us. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
Return Address
Please do not send returns to the address shown on your parcel, invoice, website footer, or any previous correspondence unless our customer support team has specifically confirmed that address for your return.
Our return address may vary depending on your country, product type, and the return processing center available at the time of your request.
Once your return request is approved, our customer support team will provide the correct return address and return instructions by email.
Returns sent to the wrong address, or sent without prior approval, may be delayed, rejected, or unable to be processed.
Return Shipping & Label Policy
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly shipped.
We do not provide prepaid return labels unless otherwise agreed by our customer support team.
Please use a reliable tracked shipping method and keep your tracking number until the return has been received and processed.
EliteTrim Grooming is not responsible for return packages that are lost, delayed, damaged, or delivered to the wrong address due to customer or carrier error.
Refund Process
Once your return is received, our team will inspect the item.
If the return is approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. We will process the refund within 3–5 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
Original shipping fees are only refundable if the item was defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly shipped.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval.
Customers may be required to return the original item before an exchange can be processed.
For hygiene and product safety reasons, used or opened grooming shears cannot be exchanged due to personal preference, wrong size, wrong model, wrong handedness, or change of mind.
Please contact us in advance to confirm whether an exchange is possible.
Free Gifts & Bundles
If your order included a free gift, the free gift must be returned together with the main item. If the free gift is not returned, its value may be deducted from your refund.
For bundle purchases, all items in the bundle must be returned to qualify for a full refund.
If only part of a bundle is returned, the refund amount may be adjusted based on the value of the items kept.
International Returns
We accept returns from international customers, subject to the same return conditions listed above.
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs, customs forms, duties, taxes, and any related return charges unless the item was defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly shipped.
Please contact us before returning any international order so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Additional Notes
This return policy applies only to purchases made directly through our official website.
EliteTrim Grooming reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions of this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
