Totally skeptical because I was sick of trying so many different things but it truly works wonders and we had no issues with filing our 18 month Aussie Sheppards nails. Huge difference!!! and for the most part it was our 14 year old who did the pups nails.

I have a rescue dog that HATES to have her paws touched, never mind cut or filed. I have tried using a dremel, but found it hard to safely use and maneuver. This product is quieter than my dremel. It is lightweight and easy to use. I love that it is rechargeable and not battery operated or tied to a cord. Cordless feature makes it that much more convenient and maneuverable. I have a battery operated one that doesn't seem to offer the same power. It heats up so don't expect to do all of your dogs nails in one sitting. Because my dog is so skittish, I never expect to do them all at once anyway, so that is not an issue for me. Beats a manual file paws down and is way better and safer than clipping the nail. I havent had any issues with running out of charge or loss of power during grooming. No grinding tool is going to be completely silent, but this one is quiet enough not to over stress my dog. Overall a great purchase.
