They came as promised

Surprisingly Good for a Non-Professional

I'm definitely not a professional groomer, but these scissors make me feel like I can at least do a decent job. I'm actually surprised at how much better my dog looks after using them. They're especially helpful for shaping the fur around his face and on the sides of his head. He looks so much neater now. The curved design is great for getting those tricky areas, and the rounded tips make me feel better about not accidentally poking him. The scissors are sharp and cut through his fur easily.

Shears for your furry friend or client

I took away one star because the cutting shears have a very sharp tip, which could be a problem if you have a wiggly dog. I’m not a professional groomer, so take my words with a tiny grain of salt, but besides the not-so-safe grooming tool (1 out of the 4) it works very well. The blades are very sharp so it didn’t catch my dog’s fine fur. I used both thinning shears and it easily thinned out her fur. I have a pair I bought from Sally’s that were on the cheaper side, and these worked much better. They felt quite comfortable while cutting my mini Aussie’s super long butt floof. They didn’t bend my fingers and hands in an awkward way. I have used shears that have too small of a hole the I had to twist my finger around and it hurt. It’s substantially made but not too heavy. So I have to say that if you have a calm and stable dog (or any other animal) the pointy tips wouldn’t be an issue, but if your buddy or client is unstable and wobbly or wiggly, I would advise not to get this kit.
The case is a little on the thin side but it holds everything in its place, and the zipper works fine.
