Double Tail™ | 7.0" Curved Thinner

I ordered this grooming scissor set for my Australian Shepherd pup. She’s getting to the age where I’d need a larger set of trimming scissors to manage her leg, ear, and bum fur. This set has been perfect for cleaning up her fur, and is incredibly sharp. The comb is helpful in grabbing fur and guiding my trims, It comes with a really nice case to keep the set stored in, and is overall a really lovely product. It’s weighted nicely as well! I absolutely can recommend this set!

I can’t always get to the groomer. I can feel confident in trimming my sweet little Maltese, because these are made well and are sharp.

I have Border Collie. She basically sheds 12 months out of the year. The fur on her hind quarters is especially thick. Because Border Collies have a double coat you really aren't supposed to do anything but trim so as not to throw her warming and cooling system out of wack. These scissors really help me keep her nice and tidy. They are really sharp and have a nice solid heavy feel in my hand.

In contrast the fur on the back of her front legs and under her neck is very fine. The duel purpose comb is quite handy. The wide portion works well on the back and the narrower teeth work well especially on the back of her front legs.

I have been slowly working way into ordering all of the equipment I need to become a full time dog groomer. This grooming set is very nice. I have several different pairs of sheers but these sheers are very good quality. They are a nice weight and cut my dogs fur with ease. I love that they come in their own carrying case in the event that I want to travel with them. The sheers included are different from the ones I already have and are a great addition. They do look and feel like professional sheers. They are very easy to use and are comfortable. Highly rendered them if you are doing your own dog growing or are a professional dog groomer.

This set of qualoty scissors is very sharp. The curved blades meet very closely with little tolerance along the blade making cutting easy and precise. Included is a smooth cutting set of scissors, a set of fine thinning shears and a course set of thinning shears. A comb is included with a course spaced end and a fine spaced end. The finger holes are specially coated to help with holding the scissors along with control during use. Overall, a quality set of grooming products for the individual pet owner as well as the professional groomer. A great value. I reduced one star because only curved shears are included with no set of straight scissors in the set which I feel is essential.

I received this item and I’m very happy with it. I use it on my doodle, who has thick hair, especially around his eyes, ears, and private areas. SO the curved design comes in handy. The design is sturdy and comes with options for different cuts, which makes grooming much easier. It arrives in a nice case with a good-quality zipper, keeping everything organized.

I’m not a professional groomer, so I can’t speak to professional-grade standards, but for home use, it works really well. The ergonomic finger grips make it easy to maneuver and control, which is a huge plus when dealing with a wiggly pup. The price felt a bit steep at first, but considering the quality and how much grooming tools usually cost, it seems reasonable. Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and quality.

Things I like: Sturdy design. Multiple cutting options. Ergonomic finger grips. Good quality case. Works well for thick hair.

Things I dislike: Price is a little high, but understandable for pet grooming tools.
