Super sharp and hold the edge well

Used it on my springer spaniël. He is not looking like Lord Farquaad anymore.

I have a Maltipoo with very thick curly hair and grooming her can be a nightmare. I have tried to use my "Human" thinning shears on her but not very successfully with her type hair. First thing that came to mind about these new "Dog" hair thinning shears is that I wondered why they spent so much on the pink zipper enclosure to protect them. Expected a thin plastic sleeve. However, when I tried them on my dog, I was able to snip hair away "quickly" and with no tugs on dog hair. They are quite sharp in their own way. Notice the pic I took of the blade configuration. Much different than "Human" thinning shears. So I will neatly store these away in their pretty pink container to make sure the blades stay sharp and clean. They are very sturdy and comfortable in my hand. Good investment.

These scissors are very comfortable to work with and the weight feels perfect. These are definitely not a cheap pair of grooming scissors. They cut perfectly and are very easy to use. I'm just learning how to groom, but these function very well and make it easy to learn. The finger holes are a comfortable size and don't rub like some scissors do. I also like that they come with a storage case. I was able to trim my dog's fur easily and quickly.

I'm a dog groomer with 13 years experience. With that being said, these curved thinning shears are a game changer! Very sharp and cut down on my grooming time significantly as well as came out so nice! My only wish was that they made these for Leftys. If they made a Lefty line, I would be allover it!! Definitely worth the money regardless!!

Great scissors for my Australian Shepard. Cuts through his hair like no problem at all. I like the carrying case it comes with as well. Good size.

I was amazed at the quality of these clippers. The handles are set at a very ergonomical position that works for left and right handed people. They have some weight to them, so you can feel the quality. Very sharp, great size and easy to use.

As a groomer of 19 years, these are really great for what you’re paying. I highly recommend them and I’m somone who usually only buys top of the line shears. Great set of clippers for grooming your dog. We have a labradoodle and needs frequent trimming. The curved blades are a must for trimming around the muzzle and are safer as they help to prevent accidentally poking the dog with sharp pointed scissors. Have used them now several months and have held up well and remain sharp.

I received these professional grooming sheers and overall would recommend but let me tell you my experience:

My first impression was good because they are well packed in a zip storage case and have a heavy expensive feel/look to them. Once unpacking the scissors I went to use them on my dog (I am not a professional groomer, I only cut my dogs hair). Upon using them I had an issue with the inside of the scissors catching, it happened numerous times to me over the first few minutes of trying to use them and then it suddenly stopped and they worked perfectly. I have not had issues with them since my initial use, which is why I only deducted 1 point. Once they started working properly they cut like a dream, so much better than the previous pair I had worked. You can tell they are sharp because the hair cuts easily and does not catch inside of the scissors during cutting, which I’ve had an issue with from previous brands purchased. I will attach a video to show the issue I originally had with the scissors catching but you’ll also be able to see how they cut great once it stops.

These thinning shears are adequate for the home groomer, but unfortunately, not the best quality if you’re a professional groomer. The material itself is very high quality stainless steel, however, the design (or maybe it’s the finish?) needs a little bit more work. Whatever the term is, it’s that the blades tend to snag on each other occasionally when you close them. I’m not sure if they’re too loose or too tight, so I guess I’ll have to fiddle around with them.
Otherwise, they’re okay and the blades are sharp. I like that they’re curved which makes blending the sides much easier. They’re lightweight and pretty comfortable to use. They work fine for my Scottie, but I’m only grooming one dog. If I had to groom more than one, I might not be very happy.
